Try allows shoppers to order clothes from multiple online stores to try on at home for free. Participating retailers include ASOS, Barneys, J. Crew. Neiman Marcus, Nike, Reformation, Revolve, Shopbop, SSense and Zara. Users install the ‘Try’ button on a Google Chrome browser to shop featured e-commerce sites.
After clicking ‘Try for Free’ on desired goods, shoppers make size selections and provide shipping and payment information. Try has a 10-day window for decision-making needs, provides a pre-paid shipping label for returns and only charges users for kept items.
Shoppers can try up to five items at once and earn more tries by inviting friends. Loyal customers are rewarded additional tries for merchandise purchased through the service.
